I’m still just waiting for the moment when Ezra looks at his life, looks at his choices, and realizes he’s the biggest idiot in Rosewood/the world. I think this facial expression was meant to convey something like “oooo look at my boo who I can no longer be with OUR LOVE IS SO TRAGICALLY BEAUTIFUL AND BEAUTIFULLY TRAGIC” but please just let me pretend it was his What Have I Done/I Hate Myself face. I actually took it as a “Holy crap, what was I doing? Why is she staring at me like that? STOP IT” expression. Mostly because I also want him to realize how stupid he is but I digress.
